Seniority Benefit Group is not an Insurance Provider.The Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Plan Annual Election Period (AEP) runs from Oct. 15 to Dec. 7. During this time, beneficiaries can change their Medicare Advantage or Prescription Drug Plan for the upcoming year.
If you are satisfied with your existing coverage, your Medicare plan(s) — as long as they are still offered — will automatically renew each year, as long as you continue paying the applicable premiums.
In short, no! Your Medicare Supplement will never undergo any changes to the coverage year-over-year. All Medicare Supplement plans of the same type (G, N, etc.) are standardized. The only difference between plans is the monthly premium (what you pay each month to have coverage). All Medicare Supplement plans incur a rate increase at least once per year.
You should receive all plan documents within 14 business days of your application being approved. The approval process typically takes between 5-7 business days upon submission.

This can occur if you remained on an employer or group plan past the age of 65. If you didn’t have a gap in creditable Prescription Drug coverage of more than 63 days, you shouldn’t be subject to a penalty. However, you must still respond to the letter to avoid any penalty. All questions/issues about Social Security must be handled by Social Security directly. Either log in to your ssa.gov account or call 800-772-1213.
The standard Part B premium for 2025 is $185 and will be automatically deducted from your Social Security check each month. If you are not yet receiving Social Security benefits, you will receive a quarterly bill for your Part B premium. For questions or concerns about your Part B premium payment, contact Social Security directly.
IRMAA stands for Income Related Monthly Adjustment Amount. If your Modified Adjusted Gross Income (from two years prior) was more than a specified amount, your Part B and Part D premiums will increase. Learn more about Part B costs.
